GREAT PHOTOGRAPHY TOUR ITINERARY
This programme is not included Hanoi capital city. If you wish, we can do Hanoi city tour and some village tours near the city for you before we start this one.
DAY 1. HA NOI – MOC CHAU ( 210km) ( L, D)
After breakfast at your hotel in Hanoi, We will come to pick you and start the Vietnam Great Photography Tour by driving few hours from Hanoi to Moc Chau ( Son La Province). It depends on the weather and your wish to stop on the journey.
Have your lunch break in Mai Chau. In the afternoon, walk around the Valley of Mai Chau and drive to Moc Chau. Arrival Moc Chau at 05.00 pm and check in a local hotel, freshen up and have a rest.
Note: It is very flexible to do things on the road, we can decide on the car. ( play by ear !!! ),what’s on the road: Hoa Binh Hydro power plant and lake, Mai Chau valley, Mountain view and villages…
Overnight in Moc Chau.
DAY 2. MOC CHAU – NGHIA LO (149km) ( B, L, D)
This morning, we spend your times for taking photo of the surrounding area, featured with high mountains, evergreen tea plantation on terraced fields in Moc Chau highland then back to hotel for check out and continue your trip to Nghia Lo ( about 4 hour driving).
There are several photo stops along the way. Landscape is composed by high mountains, valleys with rice fields and tea plantation plus beautiful villages of the Thai and Tay ethnics. Find a local restaurant for lunch and rest.
Arrival Nghi Lo in the mid- afternoon, spend the rest of the afternoon for your great photography tour of the valley surrounding Nghia Lo Township.

DAY 3. NGHIA LO – MU CANG CHAI ( 90 km) ( B, L, D)
Check out of your hotel at 07.30 AM and leave our tour from Nghia Lo for 90km driving to Mu Cang Chai. There are several highlights of the landscapes today: The stunning valley of Tu Le; The spectacular Khau Pha mountain pass and especially the terraced rice fields in Mu Cang Chai.
The whole morning is for slow road transfer with many stops for taking photo before your lunch stop.
Afternoon is for taking photo of your impressive Vietnam Great Photography Tour around Mu Cang Chai. Then check in hotel for your relax in Mu Cang Chai.
Note : The time is also very flexible. We can start our Great photography Tour early, and back to Hotel lately.

DAY 4. MU CANG CHAI – TAM DUONG ( 110 km) ( B, L, D)
This morning, we start a new day with the great photography tour, leave Mu Cang Chai for road transfer to Tam Duong via Than Uyen. It is a long day along the road. This portion of the road runs along the northwest side of Hoang Lien Mountain Range and offers magnificent landscape which is a combination of highest mountains, marvelous valleys, waterfalls and beautiful streams. Of course, we need some places for tea or coffee and eat.
Take many stops and short walks along the way for taking photos of landscape, local ethnic people and their villages.
Arriving in Tam Duong late in the afternoon, check in hotel and relax.

DAY 5. TAM DUONG – SAPA ( 42km) ( B, L, D)
After your breakfast, check out and have a look Tam duong market and Leave Tam Duong in mid- morning for 2 hours road transfer uphill the Tam Ton Pass to get over the Hoang Lien Son mountain range to the east side. This portion offers probably the most stunning and magnificent scenery of the mountainous region in Vietnam.
Before Sapa, turn left to Ta Giang phinh village. This is amongst the most beautiful valleys around Sapa, a perfect place for your Vietnam Great Photography Tour. Stop for your lunch break, then spend the rest hours of taking photo and drive to Sapa before it gets dark.
Note: It is very flexible to do things on the road, we can decide on the car. ( play by ear! ),what’s on the road: Fansipan peak, Tram Ton pass, Heaven Gate, Silver waterfall, Ta Giang Phing village.

DAY 6. LAO CHAI – TAVAN – GIANG TA CHAI (16km) ( B, L , D)
After breakfast, we do one of the most beautiful destinations in Sapa by driving to Lao Chai, then from Lao Chai, you start trekking to Ta Van and Giang Ta Chai villages .The home of Black H’mong , Dzay and Red Dzao minorities.
It is time for you to visit the local families, listen to your guide’s explanation about the local culture: how they live, way of building the traditional house, techniques of making clothes… and you will have a lot of chance for taking nice photos of landscape, local people.
Have your picnic lunch on the way. Then get through the bamboo forest with wet and hilly path.
Drive back to Sapa with stops on the main road to have more beautiful pictures if you like.

DAY 7. SAPA – BACHA ( 110km ) ( B, L, D)
The markets in the Northern Vietnam, are always the colorful meeting places for the hill tribes, spotlight for any Sapa Tours and of course, your unique Vietnam Great Photography Tours experience. Minority people come down from the mountains to sell their products, or just for catching up on the latest news, gossip, drinking away troubles or seeking for lover. This is a big chance for you to collect more nice photos to your collection.
In the morning, we drive to visit one of the following markets.

Bac Ha Market or Muong Hum Market or Muong Khuong Market – Sundays
Cao Son Market – Wednesdays
Lung Khau Nhin Market – Thursdays
Coc Ly Market – Tuesdays
In the afternoon, we transfer from the market place to Bac Ha, check in hotel and short rest. Then take a walk around Ban Pho village of Flower H’mong people.

DAY 8. BAC HA – HANOI ( 320 km) ( B, L)
Today will be the easy day with some serval photo stops along the way. Arrival Hanoi, check in again hotel and overnight in Hanoi and relax.

DAY 9. HA NOI – HA LONG BAY ( 160 km)( B, L, D)
Halong bay tour must be the most beautiful tour in Vietnam for any Vietnam Holidays. We start at 8.00 A.M for the 3 hour drive (170 km) through the Red River Delta, which offers plenty of chances for taking photos of Vietnamese farmers tilling the vast green paddy fields. At half way, we’ll have a visit to a handicraft workshop with fine clothes, embroidered paintings, stone statuettes and all kinds of gems mined in Vietnam such as star rubies or sapphires… Our destination is the World Heritage Site of Ha Long Bay. The bay offers some 3000 mountain islands and islets towering in the Gulf of Tonkin in the East Vietnam Sea.
Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed on board our luxury junk and treated with wine and fresh local seafood. As our junk gliding further into the tranquility of Ha Long Bay amid the towering mountain cliffs and on the emerald green water, you’ll have relaxing time combining the fine tastes of the wine and the freshness of Ha Long Bay. During the cruise, we’ll stop sometimes for visiting the amazing Sung Sot cave and the Ti Top white sand beach before anchoring for the night. Overnight on board the junk in the wild of Halong Bay.
Note: This tour will be changed due to the bad weather and local government permission. In this case, we will go to Ninhbinh ( about 100km, 2 hour driving), called Halong Bay on land. it is also the great photography tour.

DAY 10. HA LONG BAY – HA NOI (160 km) (B, L)
It is said that your Vietnam Great Photograph Tour will not be complete without a tour to Halong Bay and spending one night on romantic Halong Cruise. People describe Halong Bay as majestic and mysterious, inspiring and imperious and words alone cannot do justice to the natural wonder that is Halong Bay, a priceless collection of unfinished sculptures hewn from the hand of nature.
After breakfast, we’ll take a little sampan to visit a secret lagoon of Ha Long Bay while the surrounding mountains are just waking up. After that our cruise takes us further into the Bay of Bai Tu Long traveling past the Human Head Island, the Turtle Island, and the Duck Islet… to the studio site where the famous Indochine film was shot. Around noon, our junk travels back to the harbor, pick up and drive back to Hanoi.
