HANOI GOLF PLAY AND TOUR ITINERARY

Day 1 .  HANOI CITY TOUR   ( LUNCH )

Starting from the hotel, we drive to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s First University, tour its remarkable architectures and learn about the Confucius religion.

Continuing on, we visit the Quan Thanh Temple, well known for its bronze statue of Tran Vu.

One of Hanoi’s highlights that you should not miss while touring the city are museums. We have a chance to discover from the recently opened Ethnology Museum, which presents an insight into the most colorful groups in Vietnam.

Lunch will be served in a local restaurant.

The Old Quarter of Hanoi as the city of ancient 36 streets and districts. These streets represented professional guilds of the ancient Vietnam Capital that we can even find nowadays.

We pass many French influences including Hanoi Opera House, the State Bank and the former Governor’s palace.

Afterwards, we journey around beautiful Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple. And tour the Hanoi Cathedral built in late 19th century.

Finally, we wander the lively old streets filled with traditional crafts, having some gifts before we return to the hotel. And the 1st day of hanoi golf play and tour finish

Day 2 . KING’S ISLAND GOLF COURSE ( B)

Kings’ Island Golf Club is a 36 holes golf resort in the outskirts of Hanoi and arguably the most scenic course in North Vietnam. The golf resort lies on the shores of the Dong Mo reservoir 36 kilometers from Hanoi. At only 50 minute drive from the capital, King’s Island is a high quality and convenient choice to include a North Vietnam golf package. In a uniquely Vietnamese touch, access to the course is by boat.

Day 3 . CHI LINH GOLF STAR ( B )

The Chi Linh Star Golf & Country Club features 27 holes of challenging international standard golfing. The golf club, one of the newest in Vietnam, opening in late 2003. And is located about half way between Hanoi and the popular Halong Bay. Chi Linh Star Golf & Country Club played host to the first professional golf tournament in the north of Vietnam. Day 4 .  HANOI –  HALONG BAY CRUISE ( B, L, D)

Our car and driver will pick you up at 8.00am at your hotel in Hanoi and take you to scenic Ha Long Bay. Arriving around 12:00 noon.

At the port of Ha Long, our crew will welcome you on board to enjoy a welcome drink . Then check into your cabin.

A seafood lunch will be served and at 13:00 a 3.5 hour cruise in Halong Bay will begin, visiting the amazing limestone karsts including the Mat Qui (monster’s face), But Moc, and Cap De islets; the Trong (Drum) and Trinh Nu caves, and the unique way of life in a floating fishing village, ending with the chance to explore the Luon cave from 16:40 to 17:30. There will be plenty of time for swimming and sun bathing as well as enjoying a great sunset dinner and relaxing under the starlit sky before retiring to the comfort of your cabin.

Day 5 . HA LONG BAY – HA NOI ( B, BRUNCH)

Early risers can enjoy the serene morning view of the bay’s landscapes with a cup of tea or coffee and fresh fruit. From the upper deck of the boat, the beauty of the rocky islands rising from the crystal-clear waters of the bay, is breathtaking. The quiet is almost eerie; the birds singing and cicadas chirping onshore, along with the gentle lapping of the waves against the boat. Provide the perfect soundtrack to accompany the sense of calm and the fresh, gentle breezes.

Explore the Sung Sot (Amazing) cave from 8.00 to 9:00 then swim and relax at Titop beach. A brunch buffet will be served on the return cruise from 10:30 to 11:30. Arriving back at the harbor by noon for the drive back to Hanoi.

Check in at the hotel and have the evening free.

Day 6 . PHEONIX GOLF COURSE ( B)

Phoenix Golf Resort is located 40 kilometers north of Hanoi in an area referred to as ‘Halong Bay on Land’.  The view from the course and clubhouse is spectacular as the limestone outcroppings, which frame and come into play on many of the holes resemble those most people only expect to see in the famous Halong Bay.

The 54 hole Phoenix Golf Resort is the largest pure-play golf facility in Vietnam and second largest in Asia, only after Mission Hills China.

Designed by Ronald Fream. Each of the three courses at Phoenix makes use of severe fairway and green undulations as well as clever routing through and around the unique-looking limestone cliffs. Additional Japanese and Korean design inputs ensure that the surrounding environment is both well protected and stunning at the same time.

Day 7 .  HANOI HANDICAFT VILLAGE ( B, L )

Be different to others, hanoi golf play and tour give you something specially. This morning, we venture to Bat Trang village. Being famous for its production of ceramics and become acquainted with the century old methods of this art.

Continuing on, we drive to the beautiful But Thap Pagoda. Constructed during the 17th century Trinh Dynasty and see the famous pagoda’s collection of over fifty Buddhist statues.

Finally, we arrive Dong Ky village, well known for the communal production of woodcarving . Made by regional artists, whose profession has been handed down from generation to generation.

Our car will pick up and drive back to Hanoi. The tour finish at the hotel.

Note: if you like, we can pick you up at the Hanoi airport and say goodbye there, too.
